This photo, for me, is the wonder of the moment. Standing in the yard of the home I grew up in on a hill in Union, Maine in winter 2010 I felt privy to a sunset no one else was there to see. It was as though the sun melted into lava just before disappearing over the horizon with one lasted heated breath, as it surrendered into the night a cold mist mingled in frigid air almost as if the sun exhaled its last breath for the day as it Molted into Night.
