A Plastic Ocean

A few nights ago I had the opportunity to curl up on the couch and watch the documentary A Plastic Ocean which can be seen here or found on Netflix.

As a team set out to study pygmy blue whales and true blue whales they made a sad discovery about the amount of plastic in our oceans, in areas where it may not even be expected.

I was shocked to see the amount of plastic coming out of marine life's stomach and found myself looking at the plastic bottles on the counter, ones I am going to make an effort to start eliminating from using as much as possible.
